Patchwork Care

Each piece of fabric is made from high-quality cotton, ensuring durability and comfort of use. We recommend presoaking the fabrics before first use in warm water at about 30 degrees Celsius. This process will help remove any production residues and prepare the fabrics for further processing, ensuring that your finished projects maintain their shape and colors even after multiple washings. Proper care of patchwork made from our cotton fabrics requires careful handling to preserve its beauty for many years. We recommend separating colors before washing, especially if your work includes both light and dark fabrics. This helps prevent dye transfer from darker to lighter materials. Patchwork should be washed on a gentle cycle in cool or lukewarm water, which will help preserve the intensity of colors and the structure of the fabric. Using mild detergents intended for colored fabrics will increase the chances of maintaining the original appearance of your patchwork. Drying patchwork should ideally be done flat, which prevents deformation and helps maintain the original dimensions and shape. If ironing is necessary, it should be done with moderate heat to avoid damage and restore the smoothness of the fabrics.
